MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />December 1, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & Recreation Commission <br />of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 15` day of December, 2005 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road East in said City. <br />Chair Ginger Sackett Glaser called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members <br />of the Commission were present: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />MINUTES Gray recommended that the <br />submitted. <br />11VERGREEN <br />HILLS <br />"ARK CHG <br />Ms. Ginger Sackett Glaser <br />Mr. James Broten, Vice -Chair <br />Mr. David Gray <br />Mr. Kevin Steinert <br />Ms. Molly Boss <br />Mr. Craig Larson <br />Mr. Tony Mans <br />Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks & Recreation Director <br />Ms. Kris Pechman, Recording Secretary <br />minutes of the meeting held on October 6, 2005 be approved as <br />Motion seconded by Sackett Glaser. <br />Motion carried 4 — 0. <br />The Director stated that the Evergreen Hills development is located off of Old County Road C, <br />west of the railroad tracks. The owner is proposing to subdivide the land into six single- family <br />residential lots. The Director stated that the space is limited and therefore he felt there was no <br />need for parkland from this development. The Commission agreed. <br />Sackett Glaser recommended accepting cash in lieu of land for the park charge on the <br />Evergreen Hills development. <br />Motion seconded by Gray. <br />Motion carried 4 — 0. <br />TREE SALE The Director stated that he received a letter from the Friends of the Parks and Trails on their <br />annual tree sale. (A copy of this letter is provided within the agenda packet.) Typically, they <br />send the Director a letter every year just before the sale is about to start to make sure that the <br />trees they are planning to sell meet with our approval.
