Hanson <br />The City is in receipt of two applications for deferment of special assessments. In order <br />to qualify for deferment, the amount of the special assessment must exceed one percent <br />(1 %) of the property owners' adjusted gross income. Staff has requested copies of 2004 <br />Federal Tax Returns from these property owners. Upon receipt, we will verify that the <br />property owners qualify for deferment. <br />Staff recommends approval of the Deferments of Special Assessment as requested <br />subject to verification of income qualifications. <br />1 <br />
