MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
JUNE 9, 2005
ADJOURN
Wojcik agreed that the City should take the steps necessary that will lead
to the gradual clean -up of the City.
The City Planner noted that if a property has a CUP for outdoor storage
and that property is sold, the new owner would be able to continue outdoor
storage in the exact same manner. If outdoor storage needs are different,
the new owner would not be allowed to have outdoor storage. The
Planner also noted that if an outdoor storage use is discontinued for six
months, and the City sends the property owner the proper notice, the CUP
for outdoor storage would lapse on that property.
Duray stated that he supported the elimination of outdoor storage in the
I -P District as long as existing property owners with those uses are
protected.
Knudsen recommended that in the long -term bests interests of the City,
outdoor storage be eliminated from the I -P Zoning District.
Motion seconded by Duray.
Motion carried 6 — 0.
Wojcik recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Duray.
Motion carried 6 — 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathy Glanzi
City Clerk
8
