All business, storage <br />or display, except signs and parking, shall be in a closed building. <br />(8) Organized athletic activities, such as dance, physical fitness or karate, that are <br />conducted indoors. <br />(9) Itinerant carnivals, subject to the licensing requirements in chapter 6, article VI. <br />(10) Any use that would be similar to any of the uses in this section, if it is not noxious or <br />hazardous. <br />(Code 1982, § 36- 155(b)) <br />Sec. 44 -558. Conditional uses. <br />In the BC(M) business commercial district (modified), the following uses must have a <br />conditional use permit: <br />(1) All permitted uses in the R -3 multiple - dwelling district. <br />(2) Laundry. <br />(3) Restaurant, where there are no drive -up food or beverage order windows or outdoor <br />menu or ordering boards serving of food to patrons in their automobiles. All cooking <br />odors must be controlled so as not to be noticeable to adjacent residences. <br />(4) Place of amusement, recreation or assembly, other than an indoor theater, indoor <br />athletic activity or itinerant carnival. <br />(5) Minor motor fuel station, subject to the requirements in section 44- 512(8). <br />(6) On -sale liquor business, subject to license. <br />(7) Any use that would be similar to any of the uses in this section, if it is not noxious or <br />hazardous. <br />(Code 1982, § 36- 155(c); Ord. Prohibited uses. <br />Prohibited uses in the BC(M) business commercial district (modified) are as follows: <br />(1) Drive -in theaters or drive -in restaurants. <br />(2) Commercial or fee parking lots where such use is the only use of a given parcel or <br />where such use provides for general rather than specific use parking. <br />(3) The exterior storage, display, sale, or distribution of equipment, goods, or materials. <br />(4) Carwash. <br />(5) Public garage or major motor fuel station. <br />(6) Compressed natural gas or liquid petroleum gas dispensing facilities. <br />(7) Restaurants with drive -up food or beverage windows. <br />CD44:71 <br />
