3) Each facility shall provide a separate and <br />protected outside recreation area; <br />4) Where the facility is accessory to a principal <br />use, physical separation from the major operations of the principal use <br />shall be required and direct access to the principal use shall be <br />restricted or otherwise controlled; and <br />5) All requirements of the Minnesota Department of <br />Health & Human Services are satisfactorily met and the structure and <br />operation is licensed accordingly. <br />If the proposed use is on land primarily used for residential <br />purposes and such proposed Permitted Use may adversely affect the <br />residential character of contiguous property, then such proposed <br />Permitted Use may be denied as such, and only considered on a Special <br />Use application. <br />(2) Accessory Uses. <br />Accessory uses are allowed according to the requirements of <br />§16.020(2). <br />(3) Special Uses. <br />(a) Motels, subject to the following conditions. <br />1) The City Council may require that motels have <br />dining facilities open to the public and /or have facilities to <br />accommodate public meetings and /or banquets. <br />(b) Light Industry, subject to the following conditions: <br />1) Very limited number of semi - trailer trucks and <br />truck docking facilities. <br />namely: <br />conditions: <br />2) Well- landscaped site. <br />3) Architectural compatibility with an office park, <br />a) Equal facade treatment on all sides. <br />b) No exterior storage. <br />c) No pole barns or all -steel buildings. <br />(c) Office - Showroom buildings, subject to the following <br />1) Well - landscaped site. <br />FR <br />
