Hanson <br />www, ci.little- canada. mn. us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Fahey & Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Greg Schroeder, Public Works Director <br />DATE: January 22, 2004 <br />RE: <br />2003 Street Reconstruction and Utility <br />Partial Pay Estimate No. 3 <br />I have reviewed the 2003 Street Reconstruction and Utility Improvements Pay Estimate No. 3 for <br />Park Construction Company. This pay estimate includes Storm sewer work on Market Place <br />Drive, concrete curb & gutter, and paving of Sextant Street and paving of Stark Street. In <br />addition, this pay estimate includes work on the Demont Parking Lot, as well as Rondeau Park. <br />The City Engineer has inspected the work performed by Park Construction and finds it to be in <br />compliance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. <br />The total contract amount for this project is $1,207,927.86. The contractor has earned a total of <br />$1,079,061.51, if you subtract previous payments of $867,861.37 and retainage of $53,953.08; <br />the amount due the contractor is $157,247.06. <br />Based on the above, I recommend Council approval of Partial Pay Estimate No. 3 in the <br />amount of $157,247.06. <br />i- I: \Gregs \Pay Estimates \Pay Estimate No. 3 Park.doc <br />1 <br />
