If our application is denied, this application shall not be deemed a waiver of our <br />grandfather status. <br />As part of our recent discussions and CUP application, we have also offered to <br />provide vegetative screening on the west side of our substation property, Our <br />vegetation management team lead Dennis Fallon working in conjunction with <br />your city planner Steve Grittman have agreed upon Norway spruce trees (Picea <br />abies). The attached screening plans highlight seven trees to be placed on the <br />Rice Street side of our property in 2004. <br />Pursuant to our telephone conversation yesterday, a $500.00 check is being <br />mailed to the city under separate cover to cover the CUP application fee. You <br />should receive the check sometime within the next two weeks. We appreciate <br />the city's willingness to generate the property owner listing for notification <br />purposes. <br />I will be on an extended vacation from December 19 through January 2, returning <br />to the office on Monday, January 5, 2004.
