Hanson <br />Given the Watershed's interest in the Noel Drive property, the Council directed City staff to identify <br />a listing of potential uses of the Noel Drive property. Please note that in developing the listing <br />below, staff did not evaluate the feasibility of any of the uses identified. <br />Public Works Uses: <br />Wood Chip Pile Site <br />Snow Storage Site <br />Parks & Recreation Dept. Uses: <br />Open Space /Passive Park /Picnic Area <br />Tree Nursery <br />Parks Storage Building <br />City Center Uses: <br />Overflow parking <br />Future Historical Society (City Center expands into current HS space) <br />Historical Society Gazebo Site <br />Community Center <br />DMV Center <br />Sheriff Sub Station <br />Ambulance Sub Station <br />Little Canada Police'. Department <br />Hospice <br />Redevelopment of Little Canada Road /Noel Drive Area (Noel Drive no longer a through <br />street, but cul -de -sacs at either end) may provide additional land area. <br />Realignment of Noel Drive may result in less land area. <br />Staff contacted the Watershed District to request a potential layout of the building on the Noel Drive <br />site. However, Cliff Aichinger is on vacation this week and other Watershed staff was unable to put <br />a concept together. Mr. Aichinger will be contacted on Monday to ask if a concept drawing could be <br />made available for Wednesday's meeting. - 1 - <br />
