THIRD AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA AND JOEL HANSON <br />This document is the Third Amendment to the Agreement, dated November 8, 1989, between <br />the City of Little Canada and Joel Hanson. This document amends the following described <br />paragraphs of said Agreement of November 8, 1989. All other provisions of the Agreement of <br />November 8, 1989, remain in full force and effect. <br />Paragraph 2, entitled "Salary ", is amended to read as follows: <br />BASE SALARY and Compensation Adjustments <br />The City of Little Canada agrees to pay Hanson a salary of $95,250 per year for calendar year <br />2003. Any amounts unpaid as of December 31, 2003 shall be remitted in a lump sum by no <br />later than March 1, 2004. <br />As of January 1, 2004, the City of Little Canada agrees to pay Hanson a salary of $89,050. <br />$5,000 of the $89,050 will be paid as deferred compensation in 2004 as provided in Paragraph <br />3 below. The City Council agrees to conduct performance reviews and to review Hanson's <br />compensation prior to December 1, 2004. <br />Paragraph 3, entitled "Deferred Compensation ", is amended to read as follows: <br />DEFERRED COMPENSATION. The City shall execute the necessary documents to allow <br />Hanson to enroll in a deferred compensation plan selected by agreement of the City and <br />Hanson. The City agrees to make its required contribution to PERA on behalf of Hanson <br />subject to enrollment in PERA by Hanson, and to contribute an additional $5,000 to the <br />ICMA -RC deferred compensation plan in 2004 on behalf of Hanson. <br />This Third Amendment to the Agreement of November 8, 1989, between the City of Little <br />Canada and Hanson shall be effective January 1, 2004. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Little Canada has authorized the execution of this First <br />Amendment on behalf of the City of Little Canada by its Mayor and City Administrator, and Hanson <br />has signed this Third Agreement, in duplicate, the day and year first written above. <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />By: <br />By: <br />Michael I.
