Star Associates Limited Partnership for the <br />construction of a storm shelter with North Star Estates dated August 27, 2003. The City was <br />successful in attaining $95,000 in Community Development Block Grant Funds. NSE also made a <br />cash deposit of $34,500. These two amounts provided a total project budget of $129,500. <br />Bids for the project were recently received. (A copy of the bid tabulation is attached for your <br />review.) The low bid came in at a price of $122,100. To that amount, we must also add other project <br />costs estimated as follows: <br />Construction Bid $122,100 <br />Survey & Design Fees 7,800 <br />Engineering Project Administration 1,500 <br />Construction Inspection Fees 4,000 <br />Building/Electrical Permits 2,400 <br />City Legal Costs 500 <br />Publication Costs for Bidding 400 <br />City Administration Costs (Project & Grant) 4,100 <br />Total 4$1 2.800 <br />
