ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 Little Canada Road East <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the North Star Estates Storm <br />Shelter — approximate major quantities include: storm shelter, 70' of 6' wide <br />bituminous trail, and associated electrical - will be received by the City Engineer at <br />the office of the City of Little Canada, City Hall, 515 Little Canada Road, Little <br />Canada, MN 55117 until 10:00 a.m., local time, Wednesday, June 30, 2004, and then <br />at said office publicly opened and read aloud. <br />The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: <br />1. Howard R. Green Company, 2550 University Avenue W., Suite 400N, St. <br />Paul, MN 55114 <br />2. City of Little Canada, 515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of <br />Howard R. Green Company, located at 2550 University Avenue W., Suite 400N, St. <br />Paul, MN 55114 upon payment of $25.00 for each set (non - refundable). <br />Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check <br />payable to the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, for at least five (5) percent of the <br />amount of the bid, which amount shall be forfeited to the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota, as liquidated damages if the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to him <br />shall fail to enter into the contract so let; the Common Council reserving the right to <br />reject any and all bids. <br />A Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of the contract by a surety <br />company authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota will be required with the <br />contract.
