MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JULY 8, 2004 <br />SIGN PLANS <br />TEXT <br />AMENDMENT — <br />ANTENNAS <br />AND TOWERS <br />TEXT <br />AMENDMENT-. <br />SETBACK <br />REQUIREMENTS <br />Duray recommended approval of an ordinance amending Chapter 903.110 <br />of the Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by <br />providing for a process for review of Comprehensive Sign Plans in the <br />"PUD ", Planned Unit Development District. <br />Motion seconded by Weihe. <br />Motion carried 5 — 0. <br />The City Planner presented two proposed amendments to the Zoning <br />District. The first includes references to new zoning districts which were <br />adopted after the City's Tower and Antenna Ordinance was adopted. The <br />second includes reference to new zoning districts in the general zoning <br />district listing. <br />Keis recommended approval of an ordinance amending Chapter 903.140 <br />of the Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by <br />providing f for antennas and towers in new zoning districts. <br />Motion seconded by Rheaume. <br />Motion carried 5 -- 0. <br />Keis recommended approval of an ordinance amending Chapter 904 of the <br />Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by providing <br />for additional zoning districts. <br />Motion seconded by Rheaume. <br />Motion carried 5 — 0. <br />The City Planner presented an Amendment to the Zoning Codes which <br />changes the front yard setback in the Shoreland District to 30 feet, which <br />is consistent with the R -1 Zoning District. The Planner noted that while <br />the Code provides that the more restrictive of the two setbacks is required <br />when there is an overlap of the R-1 District and Shoreland District <br />requirements, this has caused some confusion on the part of developers in <br />the recent past. The ordinance amendment would make the setbacks <br />consistent, thus eliminating any confusion. <br />- 14- <br />
