JANUARY 2004 SUBMITTAL
UPDATE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
To reflect added heat source and added fuel tanks
Reason for heat source — Precision generates wood (fuel) on a daily basis that would be
sent to disposal (landfill). Why couldn't the product be used to generate a heat — fuel
source as opposed to adding to an already full landfill. Also to conserve on the cost of
heating a sizable indoor area. Heat source and fuel are on lot in an inconspicuous space
at south end of lot, behind building also screened by existing trees.
Reason for fuel tanks on site — To ease fueling of vehicles for daily use, and alleviate
large truck congestion on Rice an/or Little Canada Road (large vehicles in and out of
Diesel fuel facilities in area) during high traffic (morning and afternoon) commuting.
Tanks have been placed on property by a professional petroleum maintenance company
and permits were issued.
REQUESTING VARIANCE FOR ADDITIONAL OUTDOOR STORAGE
Need for fencing property — to deter - trespassing through property, reduce risk of public
injury on property, and also will aid in screening from Owasso Blvd and water work
walking pathway. This is also a security protection for owner's trucks, equipment and
building.
Storage of outdoor wood /logs is temporary /interim storage. This is until a log company
picks up logs to process as opposed to having logs disposed of in landfill. The logs are
for reprocessing by a saw mill.
Need for additional outdoor storage of equipment — This is due to a new division of
Precision Landscape and Tree, Inc. in the past 1.5 years. The new division requires the
addition of numerous extra large size pieces of equipment. Most of the equipment will be
moved from job site to job site without the need to be parked on the property. The need
is to have the Semi -truck and tractor trailer to be parked near the fuel tanks (this is
outlined on the site plan).
