Agricultural and Food Sciences Academy
October 5, 2004
Page 2
enrollment increases. The PM vehicle storage needs are woefully inadequate. Both of these
conditions would back traffic out onto Vadnais Boulevard.
4. Because of the location of the site in relationship to the I- 694/Rice Street interchange, it appears
that most of the site traffic would come from and go to the west. A right turn lane as shown on
the site plan should be included with the final driveway location to facilitate this traffic flow.
I agree with the traffic study that the proposed western driveway to the site should not be allowed, and the
eastern driveway should be further reviewed for location and appropriate sight distance requirements. If
the site is served by only one driveway, the parking and drop -off areas should be reconfigured to remove
the drop -off traffic from the parking access aisles.
is
c: Dan Soler, Ramsey County
x: \uz \vadna \040100 \ag• acadcmy.dnc
- 3 4 -
