MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 28, 2004 <br />The developer agreed to the tabling of action on the Preliminary Plat and <br />signed 60 -day Waiver agreements. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-7-158 — CONTINUING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING AND TABLING ACTION ON THE PROPOSED <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR GERVAIS HILLS UNTIL THE <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 2004 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Anderson, LaValle, Montour, <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COMPRE- LaValle opened the public hearing to consider the Comprehensive Sign <br />HENSIVE Plan for District Council 82. It was noted that the Planning Commission <br />SIGN PLAN — recommended approval of the proposed sign plan. <br />DISTRICT <br />COUNCIL 82 The City Planner reported that the proposed sign plan is below the <br />maximum amount of signage allowed for the building. He recommended <br />approval of the plan as submitted. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Anderson, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Montour suggested that the lighting of the signage be reviewed by the City <br />Planner or City staff to ensure that it is not overdone, <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -7 -159 —APPROVING THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PLAN FOR DISTRICT COUNCIL 82 AS <br />SUBMITTED SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND <br />SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF SIGNAGE LIGHTING <br />13Y THE CITY PLANNER OR CITY ST,4 FE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle, <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
