EXTRACT OF TILE MINUTES <br />OF A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OE LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 2004 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Little Canada, Ramsey County Minnesota was duly called and held at the City Center <br />of said City on the 8°i day of September, 2004 at 7:30 P.M. <br />The following members were present: <br />Fahey, LaValle, Montour, and Blesener <br />And the following were absent: None. <br />Mayor Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY <br />2005 TAX LEVY AS PRESENTED BY CITY STAFF <br />WHEREAS, <br />The preliminary 2005 tax levy is as follows: <br />TAX LEVY FOR CERTIFICATION <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />$2,106,477 <br />The Council is required to certify the preliminary tax levy to the County Auditor by <br />September 15, 2004. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA that the Council hereby approves the preliminary 2005 tax levy of <br />$2,106,477. <br />The adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Council Member LaVaile and <br />upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Fahey, LaValle, Montour, and Blesener. <br />And the following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Council this 8111 <br />day of September, 2004. <br />1 <br />
