Hansom <br />Attached is a revised final estimate (Partial Pay Estimate No. 11) for the Little Canada Road <br />Improvement Project for Palda and Sons, Inc. This pay estimate was originally approved by the <br />City Council on May 22, 2002 and has been revised to reflect a final audit of the quantities and <br />unit prices that is conducted prior to our final payment. <br />The original contract amount is $1,765,242.32, and the total amount earned by the contractor in <br />May 2002, was calculated to be $1,592,978.01. Our final audit has resulted in a reduction in the <br />final contract amount from $1,592,978.01 to $1,457,978.01. The City has previously paid the <br />contractor $1,575,578.58, therefore, the contractor owes the City of Little Canada $117,600.57 <br />and has given us a check for that amount. <br />Based on the above, I recommend Council approval of Pay Estimate No. 11 for a final <br />contract amount of $1,457,978.01 and acceptance of the check in the amount of $117,600.57 <br />from the contractor to close this project out. <br />ll: \GregS \Pay Estimates \Pay Estimate No. 11 -a Palda,doc <br />
