Minutes <br />Regular <br />Meeting <br />City Council <br />Feb -8 -78 <br />Cont. <br />COUNCIL LEGISLATIVE ACTIONS <br />ATTORNEY: <br />Property <br />Mainten- <br />ance <br />Garage. <br />The attorney mentioned that pursuant to an appraisal he <br />has made an offer of,$ 19,500.00 and deletion of a deferred assessment <br />to, Mr. B. Nadeau, for purchase of a portion of parcel,53 -9109- 010 -10, <br />to be used for the maintenance garage. The attorney further stated that <br />Mr. B. Nadeau made a counter offer of, $ 20,300.00,deletion of the defer- <br />red assessment and some assurance that proper screening would be made <br />between his property and the garage. <br />Regarding the screening, Mr. De Bace mentioned, that the <br />architect has been instructed to prepare landscaping plans which include <br />planting of trees and fencing. AS to the deferred assessment,it was pointec <br />out that it pertains to a sanitary sewer line which is on the rear of the <br />property. The attorney also stated that two agreements would be made one <br />for the purchase of the property and the other for the assurances that <br />proper screening would be made. <br />Mr. De Bace introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78- 2 -045- <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MR. B. NADEAU OFFER FOR <br />PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FOR THE MAINTENANCE GARAGE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA AS FOLLOWS: <br />1). The offer of, $ 20,300.00 , from Mr. B. Nadeau,for the <br />purchase of a protion of parcel 53 -9109- 010 -10, for a <br />maintenace garage, is hereby accepted. <br />The Treasurer and Clerk are hereby authorized to issue <br />a check for such purchase. <br />3). The deferred assessment in the amount of $ 1,317.50 is <br />hereby deleted and the assessment roll for sanitary swr. <br />no.- 1- .(Aud- 00425 -D /P 0032) is hereby amended as follows: <br />2). <br />Parcel Deferred Amount <br />53 -9109- 010 -10 155 Ftr$ 1,317.50 <br />deferred <br />Amended <br />155 Ft <br />deleted <br />4.
