This will be done by hired sheriff deputies if available, or ticket <br />booth volunteers. False IDs will be confiscated by sheriff deputies. <br />• Wristbands will be used to identify people who are 21 and older. <br />• Limit the number of servings per person to four. <br />Preventing Intoxication <br />• No alcohol sales or service will be made to anyone appearing obviously intoxicated. <br />Notify sheriff deputy of any problem situations. <br />• Limit the serving size to 16 ounces for beer and wine coolers and 5 oz. for wine. <br />• Offer non - alcoholic beer. <br />• No alcohol will be served after 11:30 PM on Friday or Saturday night, or after 5:00 PM <br />on Sunday. Alcohol ticket sales will stop 15 minutes before end of band performance to <br />prevent excessive drinking in a short amount of time. <br />• No promotions to encourage excessive drinking will be offered. <br />Improving Staffing and Management Issues <br />• Provide training for alcohol servers and event coordinators. <br />• Require a trained festival committee member to be stationed in beer garden while <br />alcohol is being served. <br />• Restrict alcohol servers and alcohol ticket sales to individuals 21 years and older. <br />• Alcohol policies will be posted for all alcohol ticket sellers and alcohol servers. <br />• Hire adequate security to monitor alcohol consumption. (At least one officer on duty at <br />all times when alcohol is served and three officers during night band performances) <br />• Any questionable incidents (i.e. cutting off an intoxicated customer or violent behavior) <br />will be reported to the sheriff deputies on the premises. <br />Protecting the Community <br />• Monitor festival area for suspicious activities.
