Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Matt Anderson
Rick Montour
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Enclosed under separate cover are feasibility reports for the 2003 Improvements. Please note that
three of the projects (Market Place Drive, Sextant Avenue, and Stark Street) were ordered last year.
However, the City needs to hold a new improvement hearing since the bids would not be awarded
within the required time frame.
Staff recommends that improvement hearings be scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, 2003 based
on the following time frame:
Market Place Drive
Sextant Avenue
Stark Street
Thunder Bay Road
6:30 p.m.
6:45 p.m.
7:15 p.m.
8:00 p.m.
Council also needs to decide on a course of action relative to improvement of Savage Lane. Staffs
two options are to:
1. Reconstruct the street in compliance with City standards;
2. Delay the project to evaluate lesser options and to meet with the neighborhood to
discuss said options (see feasibility report).
1
