515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(651) 766 -4029 / FAX: (651) 766 -4048
www.ci.litile- canada.mn.us
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Fahey and Members of the City Council
FROM: Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk
DATE: November 15, 2002
RE:
Premises Permit at Brady's on Rice Street
Canadian Days Committee
MAYOR
Michael E. Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Matt Anderson
Rick Montour
iWMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
The Canadian Days Committee is applying for a Premises Permit for a pull -tab site at Brady's on
Rice Street. You will recall that this pull -tab site was most recently held Millennium Charity Plus.
Canadian Days currently has a Premises Permit for the Saxon Lanes.
The application forms are in order. Pull -tab sales would occur from behind the bar. The lease
agreement entered into with Brady's provides for a flat $1,000 per month rent. There will be no
additional compensation by Canadian Days to bartenders for selling pull -tabs. The lease agreement
also commits Brady's to making up any shortages in cash receipts from pull -tab sales.
Staff would recommend approval of the Premises Permit as requested.
