Hanson
Attached is a request from Kathy Smith for consideration of the sale of Noel Drive property to her for
development of one or two single- family residential lots. The property is currently zoned R -1.
Should the Council wish to consider this request, 1 would recommend the following:
• Stati research and report on such issues as how the property was acquired by the City,
potential for future City uses of this property given its proximity to the City Center and
Gervais Mill Park, existing information on soil conditions, approximate value of the site,
whether or not the site should be offered for sale on the open market, etc.
• The matter be referred to the Parks & Recreation Commission for their review and comment.
• Final sale price to be based on an appraisal of value to be done by Mike Bettendorf
cc: Kathy Smith
