S..lze introduced the following resolution and mover its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 34 -11 -534 - CLOSING T <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED TEXT <br />NDNENT TO DELETE SALVAGE YARDS 0?r <br />ITY COLE <br />The foregoing resol on was duly seconr>d by Mrs. Nar <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Nardin1, Hanson, For erg, Fahey. <br />Hayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopte <br />This resolution appears in <br />ni. <br />ution Book No. 11, Page 563. <br />Mr. Forsberg pointed out that they-, is a lot of undeveloped industrial <br />property left in the C: y and by eli 'nating this from the ordinance, <br />the City will be pro ected from having dditional salvage yards. <br />Mrs. Scalze int sauced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: <br />DINANCE NO. 243 - AMENDING SECTI 914.040 <br />OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE MUNICIPAL :.E OF <br />THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RELATING TO C. DITIONAL <br />USES IN AN I -1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT <br />T. foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Hrs. Nardini. <br />yes (5) Scalze, Nardini, Fahey, Hanson, Forsberg. <br />Naye.s (0). <br />Ordinance declared adopted. <br />The City Clerk reported that according to the City's Zoning Map, the <br />Poolside property has two zonings. However, the property is operating <br />as a B -3 piece of property. The Clerk reported that this was allowed <br />under the old Code, but not under the new Code. • <br />The Planner stated that this is subject to interpretation by the Council. <br />Zoning appeals are heard by the Council. <br />Mr. Fahey commented that it was never the intention of the City, in <br />adopting the new Zoning Map, to cut a piece of property in half by <br />its zoning. Fahey felt that the Zoning Hap should be amended to <br />include the entire Poolside property as B -3. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 -11 -535 - INSTRUCTING THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP BY EXTENDING <br />THE B -3 ZONING DISTRICT LINE TO ALL OF LOT <br />53- 00500- 050 -80 <br />Page -7- <br />
