MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 10, 1995 <br />Poolside <br />(Cont.) <br />Fahey suggested that the 'City determine Poolside's position. <br />Fahey suggested that Poolside be informed that the City intends <br />to close off its access to Jackson Street, and if they object <br />to that action, they can discuss it with the Council. <br />Scalze again stated that the tape should be listened to with <br />regard to the access issue and the Poolside tanks. Fahey suggested <br />that Mrs. Scalze listen to the tape and inform the Council of her . <br />findings. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and ;roved its adoption: <br />RESOLIUTION NO. 86-9-401 - INSTRUCTING THE <br />CITY PLANNER TO ADVISE POOLSIDE OF THE COUNCIL'S <br />INTENTION TO CLOSE ACCESS TO JACKSON STREET BY <br />POOLSiDE, AND REQUESTING THAT IF THEY DISAGREE <br />WITH THIS ACTION, POOLSIDE CAN DISCUSS THE <br />FLATTER WITH THE CITY COUNCIL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Nardini, Scalze, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Page 472. <br />Tina Mr. Tima reported that he did not request a "T "- intersection at <br />Property the end of Austrailian to service his property. Tima reported that <br />he did discuss this with the Engineer and Planner, but that is the <br />Agenda extent of the matter. Time stated that he is willing to work with <br />Item No. 9 the City on the resolution of the problem at the end of Australian. <br />The Planner reported that Mr. Time would like to subdivide his <br />property and does not have adequate frontage on an improved <br />street. Also, Mr. Time is not willing to pay for the cost of <br />a cul -de -sac at the end of Australian to serve the property. Tima <br />feels that the cul -de -sac would be primarily for Public_ Works <br />to turn around at the end of the street when snowplowing. <br />Fahey stated that he reviewed past meeting minutes and "fir. Tima <br />was instructed to work with the Engineer and Planner on the matter, <br />and when a solution was arrived at that was acceptable to Mr. Tima, <br />he was to return to the Council with his lot split. Fahey also <br />reported that the Council was willing to accept a reduced -size <br />cul -de -sac. <br />Tima felt that the cul -de -sac would be too close to his home and <br />that he would not be able to divide his property after a cul -de -sac <br />is installed without a variance. <br />Pare -11- <br />
