MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
AUGUST 8, 2002
McDonald indicated that the active pipeline has been completely located.
Williams has not completely located the abandoned 6 -inch lines,
specifically the depth of these lines. McDonald noted that where Preserve
Trail crosses the pipeline, that area will all be hand dug.
Hartigan again questioned how approvals could be granted without
knowing the answers to vital details.
Roycraft again noted that he is an avid environmentalist, but pointed out
that if'a development proposal fits within all requirements, it will likely
move on. He also noted that the Commission is considering the
preliminary plat at this time, and not all questions are necessarily
answered at this level of review. The Administrator
indicated that staff has informed the developers that this information is
necessary. The Administrator reported that staff recommends that
preliminary plat approval not be granted this evening and that the
Williams Pipeline information is necessary given the impact that this
information could have on the plat, for example, reduction in number of
lot, relocation of road, etc. The Administrator felt there were issues that
