Does the design of the project encroach in any way on the pipeline right -of-
way /easement?
2. Will the Pipeline Company have adequate access to repair and maintain the pipe?
3. Is there sufficient access for emergency vehicles (fire trucks especially) to reach the
area in the event of a break? Is there sufficient maneuver room for the fire vehicles?
4. Does the design of the project allow evacuation routes for homeowners along the
pipeline in the event of a break?
5. What potential volume of hazardous liquid (gasoline, diesel etc.) could be released if
a break would occur and what property would it flow to? Will this affect evacuation
routes?
G. Are the pipelines located in a High Consequence Area (HCA) or Environmentally
Sensitive Area and if so, what additional integrity management measures are being
taken by the Pipeline Company to protect the wetland and adjacent residences?
7. How will the proposed grading, cut and fill on project affect the pipeline?
5. Is the city aware that no major trees can be planted in the pipeline R/W following
construction of the project?
9. Emergency Response Items -
A. The company should identify the closest automatic closure devices i.e. valves,
regulators, check valves.
- 1 2 -
