Mr. Knudsen had pointed
out earlier that John Keis actually chaired the meeting rather than Dennis
Carson. Knudsen also asked that the minutes be clarified to show that the
fencing around the outdoor storage at the Orius site on Spruce Street was
for security purposes only and not screening. Screening would have to be
accomplished through berming and landscaping.
Mr. Mark Gossman, Nlontanari Homes, appeared before the Commission
requesting approval of a Preliminary and Final Plat for Edgewater
Townoffice Park. Gossman pointed out that the plat will create the legal
descriptions so that the units can be sold on an individual basis. Gossman
also indicated that the plat is dedicating a piece of the Park Street
right -of -way that does not currently exist. Gossman noted that Park
Street is being platted to follow the cove of the existing road, and enough
right -of -way is being dedicated via the plat to provide a 60 -foot right -of-
way. Curving the right -of -way allows the developer to meet the City's
Page 12
