(D) Legal fireworks may only be discharged in an area with a water source connected <br />to a hose or other acceptable means of extinguishing a fire. <br />(E) The Fire Chief may ban the discharge of legal fireworks or shorten the time for <br />the discharge of legal fireworks if, in his opinion, unsafe, dry or windy conditions <br />exist. <br />(F) Juveniles may not possess legal fireworks unless the juveniles are under the direct <br />supervision of a responsible adult. <br />(0) Fireworks and legal fireworks which violate any provision of this Ordinance, state <br />law, rules or regulations, and pose a threat to public safety may be confiscated and <br />destroyed. The costs associated with disposal of such fireworks or legal fireworks <br />shall be assessed to the owner of the confiscated material and the property on <br />which the materials were confiscated. <br />802.080. Penalties. <br />(A) Violations of this Ordinance or state law, rules, or regulations, relating to <br />fireworks or legal fireworks may result in the suspension or revocation of the <br />legal fireworks license. <br />(B) Any person violating any provision of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to <br />exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by imprisonment not to exceed <br />ninety (90) days, or both. In either case the costs of prosecution may be added. <br />Section 2. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and <br />publication. <br />PASSED by the City Council of Little Canada this day of , 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />Michael I.
