MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 23, 2002 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />pointed out that a lot of input was taken on the CUP request that was originally <br />proposed, and he felt the Council made a reasonable decision. Therefore, <br />unless the proposal has changed, he struggles with the why the Council should <br />review the matter again. <br />Al Mentes reported that one of the neighbors had expressed concern that he <br />was in the auto repair business, and that was the reason that neighbors opposed <br />his original proposal. Mentes reported that he is not in the auto repair <br />business, and was requesting the accessory garage to store his vehicles. <br />Mentes reported that there are other accessory garages on Greenbrier Street as <br />well as on Edgerton Street. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -1 -16 — INSTRUCTING MR. AND MRS. <br />MENTES THA T THEY WILL HA VE TO APPLY FOR AN AMENDMENT <br />TO A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR CONSIDERATION OFA <br />REVISED ACCESSORY GARAGE PROPOSAL, WITH THE FORMAL <br />PROCESS TO BE FOLLOWED, ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE <br />PROCESS TO 13E PAID 13Y THE APPLICANT, AND INSTRUCTING <br />CITY STAFF TO PUT TOGETHER A REPORT RELATIVE TO <br />EXISTING ACCES,S'OR1 GARAGES IN THE AREA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Anderson, Scalze, Montour. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2002-1-17—APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLL0PVING: <br />*RENEWAL OF GAMBLING LICENSE & PREMISES PERMIT AT THE <br />LITTLE CANADA BINGO HALL FOR NORTH SUBURBAN YOUTH <br />FOUNDATION FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD APRIL 1, 2002 THROUGH <br />MARCH 31, 2004; <br />*RENEWAL OF GAMBLING LICENSE & PREMISES PERMITS AT <br />SAXON LANES AND SPOONER PARK FOR LITTLE CANADA <br />CANADIAN D A YS FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD APRIL 1, 2002 <br />THROUGH MARCH 31, 2004; <br />*APPROVAL OF 13LACKTERN POND OUTLET AS PART OF THE <br />CITY'S STORM SEWER SYSTEM AND APPROVAL OF THE TWENTY- <br />4 <br />
