Hanson <br />Attached is a report from the City Attorney relative to an alcohol violation that occurred <br />at Gordies' Place on November 9, 2001. Please be advised that it is mandatory that the <br />Council consider this matter and take action regarding the violation (copy of ordinance <br />attached). The severity of the action is at your discretion, subject to the appropriate <br />hearing. Below is a summary of the action that the Council has taken with previous <br />violations: <br />Tierney's Liquor — Open for business on unauthorized day - $100 civil penalty <br />suspending the penalty if there are no subsequent violations for one year; <br />MGM Liquors — Sale of liquor to retail vendor who was on MN Dept. of Revenue <br />Liquor Posting Tax Delinquent List - $1 civil penalty <br />MGM Liquors — Open for business on unauthorized day - $100 civil penalty, <br />suspending the penalty if there are no subsequent violations for one year; <br />Gas N Go — Sale to minor - $100 civil penalty, suspending the penalty if there are <br />no subsequent violations for one year. <br />
