Enclosed please find a copy of Project Remand's
letter with respect to Ms. Hage, which indicates that she has admitted the offense and also sets
forth the conditions that she must comply with. If Ms. I-Iage complies with these conditions the
criminal case against her will be dismissed in six months.
As you are aware, Little Canada ordinance section 703.130 indicates that every licensee is
responsible for the conduct in the licensed establishment. Moreover, Little Canada ordinance
section 703.170 provides: "The council shall either suspend for up to sixty days or revoke any
intoxicating liquor license, or impose a civil fine not to exceed $2,000.00, for each violation upon
finding that the licensee has failed to comply with any applicable statute, regulation or ordinance
relating to alcoholic beverages."
Based on Ms. Hage's admission to the violation, we suggest a hearing be scheduled for
the licensee. As you are aware, Gordies is entitled to Notice followed by a hearing and a written
decision of the council.
If you have any further questions relative to this matter please let me know.
Very trul yours,
'SW ` E t `Et & SWEENEY
PJS:chl
Enclosure
(>1iCk J.
