MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 22, 2001 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of August, 2001 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said <br />City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br />Council Member Ms. Beverly Scalze <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Matt Anderson <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Cable TV Producer Mr. Jeremy Brodin <br />Deputy Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CUP — <br />3058 <br />GREENBRIER <br />STREET — <br />MENTES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -8 -178 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />AUGUST 8, 2001 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUI3MITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Scalze, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider an application for a <br />Conditional Use Permit allowing construction of a 36 foot by 28 foot <br />accessory garage which will result in total garage space on the property <br />in excess of 1,000 square feet for 3058 Greenbrier Street. The Mayor noted <br />the recommendation of the City Planner relative to this matter as outlined in <br />his report dated August 13, 2001 as well as the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission which lays out a couple of options decreasing the size <br />and location of the proposed accessory garage. <br />
