MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA AUGUST 22, 2001 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of August, 2001 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I. Fahey Council Member Ms. Beverly Scalze Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mr. Matt Anderson Council Member Mr. Rick Montour ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman Cable TV Producer Mr. Jeremy Brodin Deputy Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CUP — 3058 GREENBRIER STREET — MENTES RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -8 -178 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 8, 2001 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUI3MITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Scalze, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider an application for a Conditional Use Permit allowing construction of a 36 foot by 28 foot accessory garage which will result in total garage space on the property in excess of 1,000 square feet for 3058 Greenbrier Street. The Mayor noted the recommendation of the City Planner relative to this matter as outlined in his report dated August 13, 2001 as well as the recommendation of the Planning Commission which lays out a couple of options decreasing the size and location of the proposed accessory garage.
