DELINEATION RESULTS
By using the standards and procedures outlined by the Army Corps of Engineers, the
boundary of one wetland was delineated. The boundary of the wetland was marked using
pink "wetland delineation" ribbon and labeled 1 through 30.
According to the National Wetland Inventory map, the site consists of three different types
of wetland: PSS1C (Palustrine, Scrub - Shrub, Broad - leaved deciduous, Seasonally flooded),
PUBE ( Palustrine, Unconsolidated bottom, Semi-permanently flooded), and PEMF
( Palustrine, Emergent, Semi- permanently flooded).
The site appears to contain both Type 4 and Type 6 wetlands. The Type 6 areas tend to be
found in the southwest portion and are considered to be "shrub swamps ". The majority of
the site consists of Type 4 "deep marsh" wetlands.
3
