MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 27, 1983 <br />Market Place <br />(Cont.) <br />Buse <br />Property <br />Division <br />Canabury <br />Petition <br />Dianna Lane <br />Planter <br />Proposal <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 338. <br />Mr. Willard Buse, 2994 Vanderbie appeared before the Council requesting <br />a subdivision of his property located at the southeast corner of <br />Vanderbie St. and Allen Ave. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83 -7 -310 - APPROVING <br />THE BUSE PROPERTY DIVISION. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs.Nardini. <br />Ayes (4) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book NO. 9, Page 339. <br />Mr. Carley presented a feasibility report for storm sewer, bituminous <br />surface and bituminous curb for Canabury Drive and Demont Ave. <br />The following persons appeared before the Council representing the <br />Canabury Condominium: Harland Rowland, June Bennett and Joe Bjanke. <br />They have petitioned for this improvement but would like to have <br />it put in without any assessments. <br />The Council directed the City Engineer, Mr. Carley, to check with <br />the County and Highway Engineers to see if they might contribute to <br />the cost of this improvement. <br />Dennis Getter, 2457 Dianna Lane appeared before the Council on behalf <br />of four of the property owners on the smaller cul -de -sac of. Dianna <br />Lane requesting the approval of a center island planter 26 feet in <br />diameter to be constructed in the center of the cul-de-sac. The <br />cost and maintenance would be born by the property owners. It <br />would be appreciated if the City could contribute labor to this <br />project. <br />Mr. Getter also .requested that a street light be ordered for the <br />cul -de -sac. <br />2 <br />Page 8 <br />
