Rheaume <br />Married to Mary (Pojar) Rheaume (grew up in Little Canada) <br />1 daughter Elizabeth 11 years old, attending St. Johns School <br />Member: St. John's Church in Little Canada <br />Resident approximately 13 years Little Canada <br />Employment: <br />Anchor Paper Company <br />Position: Vice President <br />Oversee Anchor Paper Express Division (Presently have 3 Express locations in Twin Cities) and other <br />duties involving corporate operations <br />Employed 13 years <br />Although I grew up in Arden Hills, I spent approximately 8 years in Houston Texas and Anaheim <br />California involved in the paper business. <br />1 am interested in the planning commission as 1 have an interest in the future growth of Little Canada and <br />see the city in a unique situation for business and residential development. The city is running out of open <br />developable land and will be more involved in the future with re- developing areas of the city with present <br />development. <br />Some big issues 1 see are: <br />• Having a stable tax base in residential, business and industrial <br />• Eminent domain of future development and how it affects our present residents and local business <br />• Future growth not only for the immediate future but long term as well <br />• Co- existing with surrounding cities in development issues <br />• Having an open communication with our residents and business community <br />• Have worked with other cities with various zoning issues including signage, tax valuation, site - <br />building permits etc. <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br />Gary J.
