These fees were based on the analysis of past program revenues and expenses, with the <br />goal of making most programs self- sustaining from the program fees. I also gave consideration <br />to fees charged by other parks and recreation departments in our area. <br />Based on this criteria, I recommend adopting the following fee schedule for 2004. I also would <br />like to maintain discretion to change any fees during the year as might prove necessary to <br />achieve the above goal due to more current cost information being available at the time the <br />program is conducted. <br />In setting the fees, consideration was also given to the fee subsidy that the LCRA provides. I <br />have been given approval of that subsidy by the LCRA for 2004. <br />The attached proposed fees were presented to and approved by the Little Canada Parks & <br />Recreation Commission at their last meeting. <br />If you have any questions concerning the enclosed information, please contact me. <br />H: \KrisP \Parks & Recreation \Miscellaneous \Council Fccs.DOC <br />
