Fahey
COUNCIL
Jim LaValle
V[art Anderson
Rick Montour
Bill Blesener
AailtiNL9111IATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Attached is the 2id Amendment to the Tower /Land Lease Agreement with AT &T Wireless. It allows for the
addition of two antennas to the water tower for a total of 11. We have increased the rent based on the price per
antenna contained in the current lease (154.07 per month). This amount also increases by four percent each
January 1 ". Monthly and annual rents will be as follows is this amendment is approved:
Remainder of 2003 Monthly = $1,694.82 Annual — Depends on Effective Date
2004 Monthly = $1,762.61 Annual - $21,151.32
2005 and thereafter Increase by 4% per year.
Co- location of antennas on existing public utility structures is allowed by administrative permit. Therefore, no
zoning approvals beyond the administrative permit are necessary. Placement, maintenance, and removal are
governed by the current lease agreement.
Subject to any comments by the City Attorney, I would recommend approval of the Second Amendment to the
Tower /Land Lease Agreement as presented.
1
