well controls may be located within the Passenger /Driver Layover Facility. The City will be <br />allowed free access to this cabinet via a lock or other means. <br />VI. MAINTENANCE; SIGNAGE <br />6.01 Maintenance. The Council shall be responsible, at the Council's expense, for <br />routine day -to -day maintenance and repair of the Transit Center, including sweeping, picking up <br />litter and debris, trash removal, snow removal and ice control, repairing cracks or holes, <br />resurfacing, seal - coating, pavement striping, glass cleaning, removal of graffiti, replacement of <br />light bulbs, operation of heating elements, glass replacement, and repair of any other damage. <br />The City shall be responsible for maintenance of the planters and street lights installed as part of <br />this facility. <br />6.02 Signage. All signs placed on the Transit Center improvements by the Council <br />shall be installed, maintained, repaired, and replaced by the Council. All signs placed on the <br />Transit Center improvements by the City shall be installed, maintained, repaired, and replaced by <br />the City. All signage to be placed on the Transit Center shall conform to regional standards and <br />shall be subject to approval by the Council. Any signs with advertising shall comply with Little <br />Canada zoning ordinances and the Rice Street Redevelopment Area architectural guidelines. <br />6.03 Emergency Repairs or Maintenance. Any provision of this agreement to the <br />contrary notwithstanding, if any repair to or maintenance of the Transit Center is not done by the <br />party obligated by this agreement to do such repair or maintenance, and if, in the reasonable <br />opinion of the City or the Council, an emergency exists which requires that such repair and <br />maintenance be done immediately, then such repair and maintenance may be done by the City or <br />the Council, and the cost may be recovered, upon demand, by the party doing the repair or <br />maintenance from the party obligated by this agreement to pay for the cost of the repair and <br />maintenance. <br />VII.
