9.04 Permits; Bonds. The City shall require appropriate performance and payment bonds from the Contractors with such terms and in such amounts that, at a minimum, meet all state and bond requirements for performance of public work. 9.05 Legal Compliance. All Project work under this agreement shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Minnesota. The City and its Contractors will comply with all applicable local, state, or federal laws or regulations applicable to the Project. The most recent version of these shall govern at any given time. The City shall monitor its agents, Contractors, and employees for the purposes of ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. If any change in circumstances or law will affect the performance of the Project work, the City will notify the Council's Project Manager of the change in circumstances or law at the City's earliest opportunity. 9.06 Tertnination. The parties may mutually agree to terminate this agreement. Such termination must be in writing subscribed by authorized representatives of the parties and must describe the rights and obligations of the parties with regard to the Project work completed at the time the termination is effective. The City shall include in its Contracts reasonable and appropriate terms that provide for termination of the Contracts by the City for cause and for convenience. 9.07 Notices.
