Manson <br />The City of Little Canada is eon(inning to discuss drainage issues associated with the <br />"Unweave the Weave" construction project.. Our City Engineer, Lee Elfering has been in <br />contact with your staff regarding the possibility of providing a drainage outlet for the Twin <br />Lake area via I -694 as part of the Unweave the Weave project. To that end, the City of <br />Little Canada will commit to the Following: <br />1. The City of Little Canada requests that the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />(Mn/DOT) modify the design of the Unweave the Weave plans to accommodate <br />additional drainage areas in the City of Little Canada coming from the vicinity of Twin <br />Lake. Our City Engineer, Lee Elfering, will coordinate the details of the area to be <br />served with your designated representative. The development of this area is residential. <br />2. The City of Little Canada acknowledges that this modification may result in additional <br />costs in accordance with the M n /DOT Cost Participation Policy. The City is willing to <br />participate in these additiona I costs based on application of the policy. <br />3. The City of Little Canada requests that Mn/DOT provide stubs for future drainage to <br />this area in a manner to be determined through a coordinated review involving MnDot, <br />Ramsey /Washington Metro Watershed District, and the City of Little Canada. <br />Thank you for your continued cooperation on the development of this plan.
