driver restrooms. The City agrees to cooperate with Council to facilitate construction of this <br />facility at this location. It is understood that further agreement in the final terms and conditions <br />is needed prior to construction of the transit layover facility. The City intends to install a well <br />immediately adjacent to the transit center. The intent of the well is to provide additional water to <br />the pond immediately to the south of the transit center during dry periods. The Council agrees <br />that if the Passenger /Driver Layover Facility and the well are both constructed, that a cabinet for <br />well controls may be located within the Passenger/Driver Layover Facility. The City will be <br />allowed free access to this cabinet via a lock or other means. <br />VI. MAINTENANCE; SIGNAGE; & PARKING <br />6.01 Maintenance. The Council shall be responsible, at the Council's expense, for <br />routine day -to -day maintenance and repair of the Transit Center, including sweeping, picking up <br />litter and debris, trash removal, snow removal and ice control, repairing cracks or holes, <br />resurfacing, seal- coating, pavement striping, glass cleaning, removal of graffiti, replacement of <br />light bulbs, operation of heating elements, glass replacement, and repair of any other damage. <br />The City shall be responsible for maintenance of the planters and street lights installed as part of <br />this facility. <br />6.02 Signage. No advertising signage shall be allowed on the Little Canada Transit <br />Center. Informational signage indicating bus stops and route information shall be allowed. All <br />signs placed on the Transit Center improvements by the Council shall be installed, maintained, <br />repaired, and replaced by the Council. All signs placed on the Transit Center improvements by <br />the City shall be installed, maintained, repaired, and replaced by the City. All signage to be <br />placed on the Transit Center shall conform to regional standards and shall be subject to approval <br />by the Council. <br />6.03 Emergency Repairs or Maintenance. Any provision of this agreement to the <br />contrary notwithstanding, if any repair to or maintenance of the Transit Center is not done by the <br />party obligated by this agreement to do such repair or maintenance, and if, in the reasonable <br />1 <br />
