CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />CONCURRING RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, The 1991 Minnesota Legislature established a Ramsey County Local Government <br />Services Study Commission to "report on the advantages and disadvantages of sharing, cooperating, <br />restructuring, or consolidating..." activities in areas of public service including public works; and <br />WHEREAS, The consolidation plan provides for reclassification of roadways and corresponding <br />changes in jurisdiction including the transfer of local and State Aid roadways between the County <br />and municipalities; and <br />WHEREAS, Establishment of "County State Aid Highway" status may be accomplished by <br />resolution of the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 162.02; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The County Board of the County of Ramsey did adopt a resolution locating, <br />establishing, designating, and numbering CSAH 19 (Centerville Road) from Little Canada Road to <br />Edgerton Street as part of the County State Aid Highway system of Ramsey County, and <br />WHEREAS, Said resolution locates and establishes the subject County State Aid Highway within <br />the corporate limits of the City of Little Canada; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Little Canada that the <br />resolution adopted by the County Board, a copy of which is attached hereto and made part thereof, <br />locating and establishing the above County State Aid Highway within the City limits is in all things <br />approved. <br />Adopted this 23 "d day of July, 2003. <br />Attest: <br />Joel R.
