The changes, primarily
expanded driveway and circulation dimensions, have resulted in a reduction in unit
count to a total of 45 units. The relevant dimensions are now proposed as follows:
Side - loaded garage spacing:
Front - loaded garage driveway depth:
Private Street width:
On- street visitor parking spaces:
Driveway width (Bldg types A,B,D)
Driveway width (Bldg type C)
60 feet minimum door -to -door
24 feet
27 feet (back of curb to back of curb)
12 spaces
19 feet
16 feet
The garage spacing and driveway depths should be acceptable as designed. In addition to these 12 spaces, each driveway should be able to accommodate 2
parked vehicles, and the shared driveways may be able to accommodate one or two
more than that. One small change should be added to the driveway designs — the tier
of two story units along the north edge of the project show driveway widths of just 16
feet. While this is adequate to accommodate residents vehicles entering or leaving their
