The changes, primarily <br />expanded driveway and circulation dimensions, have resulted in a reduction in unit <br />count to a total of 45 units. The relevant dimensions are now proposed as follows: <br />Side - loaded garage spacing: <br />Front - loaded garage driveway depth: <br />Private Street width: <br />On- street visitor parking spaces: <br />Driveway width (Bldg types A,B,D) <br />Driveway width (Bldg type C) <br />60 feet minimum door -to -door <br />24 feet <br />27 feet (back of curb to back of curb) <br />12 spaces <br />19 feet <br />16 feet <br />The garage spacing and driveway depths should be acceptable as designed. The 60 <br />foot spacing for side loaded garages should allow convenient flow in and out of the <br />driveways for both residents and visitors. The only change we would suggest would be <br />to add a small indentation of driveway in the shared driveways to accommodate <br />vehicles that will back out of the garage and turn toward the street. A drawing has been <br />provided to illustrate this idea. <br />With regard to visitor parking, the 12 spaces should meet demand in the project in most <br />cases. In addition to these 12 spaces, each driveway should be able to accommodate 2 <br />parked vehicles, and the shared driveways may be able to accommodate one or two <br />more than that. One small change should be added to the driveway designs — the tier <br />of two story units along the north edge of the project show driveway widths of just 16 <br />feet.
