Hanson As you know, the State Legislature has passed legislation allowing for a 2 a.m. closing time for on- sale liquor establishments provided that local cities amend their ordinances to allow the extended closing time. Therefore, the issue will be presented to the Little Canada City Council for discussion. For your information, below is a summary of the 2 a.m. License Fee that will be charged at the State level on an annual basis: Up to $100,000 in gross annual receipts for intoxicating liquor - $200 $100,000- $500,000 in gross annual receipts for intoxicating liquor - $500 Over $500,000 in gross annual receipts for intoxicating liquor - $600 3.2% Malt Liquor Licenses or Set Up License Holders - $200 Prior to the Council's consideration of the extended closing tine, staff would like to know if Little Canada's on -sale liquor establishments are interested in an extended closing time.
