Hanson <br />As you know, the State ,Legislature has passed legislation allowing for a 2 a.m. closing time for on- <br />sale liquor establishments provided that local cities amend their ordinances to allow the extended <br />closing time. Therefore, the issue will be presented to the Little Canada City Council for discussion. <br />For your information, below is a summary of the 2 a.m. License Fee that will be charged at the State <br />level on an annual basis: <br />Up to 5100,000 in gross annual receipts for intoxicating liquor - 5200 <br />$W0,000-5500,000 in gross annual receipts for intoxicating liquor - 5500 <br />Over $500,000 in gross annual receipts for intoxicating liquor - 5600 <br />3.2% Malt Liquor Licenses or Set Up License Holders - 5200 <br />Prior to the Council's consideration of the extended closing time, staff would like to know if Little <br />Canada's on -sale liquor establishments are interested in an extended closing time.
