MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 8, 2003 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of <br />May, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen (arr. 7:55 p.m.) <br />Mr. Tom Roycraft <br />Ms. Kathy Weihe <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Jeremy Brodin, Cable TV Prod. <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES The minutes of the April 10, 2003 Planning Commission meeting <br />were approved as submitted. <br />THE VILLAGE George Sherman, Sherman Associates, appeared before the Planning <br />AT LITTLE Commission and reviewed his request for Preliminary and Final Plat, <br />CANADA — Development Stage PUD, Architectural Review, and a Property <br />GEORGE Division related the The Village at Little Canada, a 52 -unit townhome <br />SHERMAN development. <br />Sherman began by reporting that he has entered into a purchase agreement <br />for the back portion of the Ultimate Golf property. This piece of property <br />will be incorporated into the townhome development site. Sherman noted <br />that there is a shed and another building at the back of this property that <br />will be torn down. The request for Property Division approval relates to <br />the incorporation of this property into The Village townhome <br />development. <br />Sherman reviewed the City Planner's report dated May 5, 2003. Sherman <br />acknowledged the Planner's comments relative to the density of the <br />development. The next issues addressed were the adjacent land uses and <br />street design as well as access.
