City of Little Canada
515 Little Canada Rd
Little Canada, MN 55117
4/16/03
To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter in regards to building a privacy fence in our front
yard at 3020 Rice St. Little Canada, MN 55113.
There are many specific reasons we would like this fence. We have lived in
the home for two years and I am deathly afraid to have my children play
outside. There are constantly people driving in and out of our parking area.
There is constant traffic and noise on our corner of Rice Street because of
the local business and will only increase this summer when there will be a
car show every Saturday. I am afraid for my children. The noise becomes
unbearable late at night and on weekends. I feel this fence will provide
safety for my family and keep things a little more peaceful.
If approved we plan on making the fence 6 feet tall with dimensions of
32x30x34. If we can put this fence up we think it will make the property
look very nice. We plan on painting it to match the house and I think it will
really increase the look of not only the house but our park as well.
We have called Gopher One and the phone company to verify that we would
not be causing a problem with their lines. They have let us know they will
only come out if we plan to dig within the next 96 hours according to MN
statute 216.D.
I hope this is enough information for you to approve our request. Thank you
so much for all of your help with this matter. Everyone at City Hall has
been really wonderful to me.
Thank you,
?,.{ ?A Ai/ll//
Karen Drummer
