MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 12, 1995 <br />(111 e Council discussed the issue of Comp Time for <br />partment heads. It was the consensus of the Council <br />accept the City Administrator's recommendation that <br />extra week's vacation be granted in lieu of comp <br />me. <br />The City Administrator pointed out that the City's <br />Mission Statement will be included in the Personnel <br />Policy. The Administrator also reviewed his redraft of <br />the Personnel Covered section of the policy. <br />Council next reviewed the redraft of the Multi - <br />Department Head Status section. Council's consensus <br />was in support of the redrafted wording. <br />The Administrator reviewed <br />Fire Department section as <br />Separation Lay -Off section. <br />redrafted sections. <br />the',redrafted wording of the <br />well,as' the Non- disciplinary <br />Council supported these <br />Fahey reported that he reviewed the At -Will Employment <br />section with the City Attorney and City Administrator. <br />Based on their conversation, current employees will be <br />subject to the current ordinance. Future exempt <br />employees will be required to sign a document <br />acknowledging their "At- Will" status. The appropriate <br />wording will be incorporated in the Personnel Policy. <br />The City Administrator reported that the changes <br />discussed will be incorporated into the Policy, which <br />will then be forwarded to the City Attorney for a final <br />review. The policy will then be brought to the Council <br />for adoption. <br />There being no further business, the workshop was <br />adjourned at 7:25 P.M. _ ___1nn .. <br />Michael I.
