Hanson The City Engineer has completed negotiations with the Frattalone Excavating for the grading work associated with the reconstruction of a portion of Ryan Drive. The Ryan Drive Grading Pay Estimate No. 1 (Final) for Frattalone Excavating is only for the excavation and base work. The paving of Ryan Drive was accomplished under a separate contract with Frattalone Paving. The City Engineer has inspected the work performed by Frattalone Excavating and finds it to be in compliance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Change Order No. 1 includes additional excavation and grading work; additional topsoil; additional soil corrections; and sewing of geotech fabric; totaling $11,045.80. In addition, Change Order No. 1, includes ditch and grading work for Roger Stanke's property totaling $3,000. Roger Stanke will be billed $3,000 for his portion of Change Order No. 1. Changer Order No. 2, in the amount of $5,900 is for the disposal of the old contaminated railroad pilings removed from under the roadway. The original contract amount for this grading is $48,256. Adding Change Order No. 1 for $14,045.80 and Change Order No. 2 for $5,900 the final contract amount increases to $68,201.80.
