BMP Name: Complaint Response Program <br />Unique ID: 4 -05 <br />MCM: #4 — Construction Site Storm Water Controls <br />of tittle Candcb <br />COMMUNIN PRIDE <br />1953 - 2003 <br />Description: <br />The City will develop a more fotutal complaint response program to address storm water related <br />complaints. The City will use their existing system of responding to calls to the Public Works <br />department on storm water related concerns. The program process will be noticed in the City <br />newsletter and on the City website. <br />Justification: <br />The program will allow citizens to become involved in water quality programs and help eliminate or <br />reduce the discharge of pollutants to the City's waters. <br />Responsible Staff /Position <br />Code Enforcement Officer 651.766.4046 <br />Measurable Goals <br />1. Review existing complaint program for improvements <br />2. Track the number of complaints annually. <br />3. Track the number of staff inspections and follow -up actions initiated. <br />Implementation Schedule <br />1. Continue existing process for complaint follow -up. <br />2. Determine improvements needed and possibilities of linking to stoup water database (see BMP <br />6- 05 -R). <br />Education Program/Public Outreach Component <br />1. Audience or audiences: Any resident, contractor, City staff, business or state or public agency <br />having concerns related to sediment or erosion from construction activities. <br />2. Increased awareness: For all the above listed individuals to identify with the basic goal of the <br />MS4 program - to reduce sediment and other material discharges to City waters from <br />construction sites. Awareness of erosion control practices, site cleanup requirements and how <br />they work to protect water quality when properly installed and maintained. <br />Annual Reporting Items <br />1.
